December 2, 2020

Dear Sugar Grove Family,

This is a quick update on the status of our onsite gatherings on Sunday morning. Monday night the Elders, Deacons and Leadership Staff met to discuss next steps. After a healthy discussion we determined to extend our virtual gatherings for an additional two weeks (through Sunday, December 13). We will continue to live stream all services.

After December 13, we will re-evaluate the remainder of December based on the latest Covid-19 information in our county. Our hope is that we will see a slowdown of cases and positivity rates and a moving from red county status.

In addition, Awana and Student Ministries will be meeting virtually only. We will keep the building open to internal and external events as long as the size of the group is 25 or less. If you have a scheduled event and it has more than 25 people planned the event may be taken virtual, canceled or rescheduled into the future.

Finally, please pray with us as we have reached out to local health care organizations like Elkhart General Hospital and Goshen Hospital to see how we can best serve them. It is our desire to bring both gratitude and encouragement for all they do in our community during this pandemic season.

Sincerely, The Elders, Deacons and Staff of Sugar Grove Church
