December 19 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Sugar Grove’s Christmas Outreach initiative is a movement to show the love of God to our friends and neighbors in Elkhart County. 2020 has been a challenging year, so we will be providing Christmas meal boxes at no cost to anyone who is in need of assistance. Each box will contain a meat entrée (ham or turkey, which will need to be kept cold), several packaged side dishes, dessert, and family Christmas activities. The meal can then be prepared at home when it’s most convenient.
Christmas boxes will be available for pickup at our contactless drive-thru event on December 19th at Sugar Grove Church. Our goal is to provide 500 meals to families in our community this Christmas. You can use the following links to sign-up to receive a meal, assist with packing the boxes, volunteer at the contactless “drive-thru” pick-up, or make a donation to help provide these meals.
If you (or someone you know) are in need of a meal:
Fill-out the appropriate form above before Dec. 6th so we can prepare a meal for you.
Your meal box will be available for pick-up at Sugar Grove Church on Dec. 19th from 10am–2pm. We will be offering a “Contactless Drive-Thru” in our parking lot for quick, socially distant & Covid-safe distribution.
If you are unable to pick-up your box at the specified time, contact our church office.
If you wish to nominate a family in need to receive a meal, fill out the appropriate form above & we will contact them to verify and make arrangements to provide them with a meal box.
We hope this meal will be a blessing to you and your family this holiday season.
If you wish to make a donation to help provide these meals:
Fill-out the appropriate form above by Dec. 6th to give online (or drop an envelope with your donation off at the church office).
Each box costs around $40 to put together, so we need to raise at least $20,000 if we are to reach our goal of providing a meal for 500 families in our community.
A donation of any dollar amount will be greatly appreciated and help us meet our goal. You don’t have to cover the cost of an entire box yourself; if you wish to provide multiple boxes, you can do that too.
Thank you so much for your generosity!
If you wish to volunteer to help pack/serve:
Fill-out the appropriate form above before slots are filled to volunteer.
We have 2 opportunities available for you to serve:
• We need 80 individuals who can help us pack meal boxes on Fri., Dec. 18th from 7–8:30pm in the Commons.
• We need 74 individuals who can help welcome guests, direct traffic, distribute meals, and potentially pray for recipients on the day of pick-up.
Thank you so much for your willingness to serve!
