During this journey, we are going to give you a better understanding of the New Testament. Our hope is that you will develop confidence as you read it for yourself and a better understanding of each book of the New Testament. In addition, we will also discover God’s redemptive plan for His people through Jesus Christ.
Jan. 26–Feb. 23
CJ & Amy Brinks | 210
Cost $35 for Assessment
This 5-wk study is designed to help couples take practical steps toward strengthening their relationship. It’s for couples who want to move from bad to better as well as those moving from good to great, and beyond.
Feb. 2–Mar. 25
Cost $10 for the book (paid at the first class)
Our core classes are designed to tackle some of the big questions of Christianity and give us a solid understanding of what we truly believe as followers of Jesus. The impact of learning and understanding these things is not meant to simply give us more to know. It’s meant to shape who we are and to form us into people who live a life that demands an explanation. This class will work through the New City Catechism book and focuses on God, Creation, Sin, and what it means to live as people of God.
• Sundays, 9:30am | Rm 214
• Sundays, 9:45am | Rm 211
• Sundays, 11am | Rm 214
• Wednesdays, 6:30pm | Rm 210
Feb. 2–Mar. 15
Pastor Rich | Rm 213
Cost $10 for book (pad at the first class)
We want to help you understand what it means to be a mentor, find the courage to engage in disciple-making, and show you how the Gospel makes it all possible. You won’t be an expert by the time you’re done, but you don’t need to be. Simply being willing and available are the first steps to being better equipped to point people toward Jesus Christ.
Doing Life with Your Adult Children
Mar. 1–Mar. 29
Pastor John & Cathie Ware | 210
If you have an adult child, you know that parenting doesn’t stop when a child reaches the age of 18. In many ways, it gets more complicated. Both your heart and your head are as involved as ever, whether your child lives under your roof or rarely stays in contact. Together, we’ll learn to navigate the toughest and most rewarding parts of parenting grown children. This class will include positive principles on bringing kids back to faith, ideas on how to leave a legacy as a grandparent, and encouragement for every changing season. “Doing Life with Your Adult Children” is a unique study on your changing role in a calling that never ends.
