Position Summary

Works with and reports to the Facility Director to maintain a clean and inviting campus.
This full-time salaried position must be available weekends. Also, preferred to attend
(S.G.C.) and become actively engaged with the church.
– Salary based on prior experience and abilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drywall repair and painting
  • Room changes and setup
  • Changing lights and/or fixtures
  • Plumbing repairs, replacements, installation
  • Carpentry, carpentry repairs and installations (doors, shelves, countertops)
  • Minor repair of electric and electrical devices
  • Facilities security
  • Grounds maintenance, snow and ice removal and lawn care
  • Maintain equipment as needed
  • Floor and carpet cleaning

Expectations

  • Maintain tools and equipment in clean, safe, working order
  • Adhere to all safety requirements and wear proper Personal Protective
    Equipment
  • Respond to emergency situations to ensure employee and facility safety
  • Adhere to organization and facilities department policies and procedures
  • Build relationships and demonstrate a high level of cooperation

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Prior facility maintenance experience a plus
  • Valid state Driver’s License
  • The ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
  • Prior experience with plowing snow and Skid steer use a plus
